i twisted my ankle. badly. i was trying a slightly... different... move at the ipu bars near the pe dept. run up, step off the first row of bars, and jump over the next. i dont understand how i managed to twist my ankle on the landing.
and that came just after a near bail. i managed to do a 90deg lache on the bars to a cat on the railing, so the logical progression was 180 on the railing, 180 jump to the bars, to another 90 deg lache in the opposite direction. except i wasn't paying attention, so i misapproximated the distance from the railing to the bar. i ended up with my 180 jump about 6 inches short of the bar and a near faceplant from 7 feet up onto concrete. as it is i only banged my knee a little bit.
